The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our customers units. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, electrical components, and hydraulic systems, as well as proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components such as air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Assemble and disassemble engine parts as needed for repair or replacement. Operate forklifts safely to move equipment and parts within the shop. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Ability to use power tools effectively and safely. Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
