Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fire Apparatus Technician Fire Truck Solutions (FTS) is looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics / Technicians to join our growing service team. FTS specializes in the sales, service, and support of fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. We are looking for skilled technicians who take pride in their work and want the opportunity to work on some of the most specialized heavy-duty vehicles on the road. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and fire apparatus Perform preventive maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform chassis and apparatus-related repairs Use diagnostic software and equipment to identify and correct problems Maintain accurate service and repair documentation Follow company safety and quality standards Qualifications Heavy-duty diesel or truck repair experience required Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with Cummins, Detroit, Allison, or similar heavy-duty systems Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification preferred, but NOT required ASE certifications are a plus Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus Must have a strong work ethic and commitment to quality repairs Don't have fire truck experience?
