We're seeking a dynamic Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy-duty vehicles. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly and safely, ensuring optimal performance across various job sites. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC systems using schematics. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacements to maximize equipment lifespan. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to meet specific operational needs. Operate heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues quickly and accurately. Assist with assembly and disassembly of equipment components during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly and ensuring work is completed promptly and thoroughly. Maintaining all aspects of safety during roadside repairs. Qualifications Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician with Mobile repairs. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, HVAC systems, suspension components, and electrical systems and trailer repairs. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and tractor-trailers. Ability to read schematics accurately and effectively for troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance hardware. Demonstrated ability to perform tire service, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and general diesel repair tasks. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in diverse outdoor environments; commitment to safety protocols at all times. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation; able to communicate technical information clearly.
