Requirements High School Diploma/GED required; technical training in Diesel or Heavy Equipment Repair preferred. Relevant experience with heavy equipment, diesel engines, or power generation systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experience with Caterpillar SIS and parts ordering preferred. Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Field-service experience preferred; some shop work required. Ability to safely operate, inspect, and test equipment. Strong communication skills and ability to mentor other technicians. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service heavy equipment and components. Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues. Remove, repair, replace, and install equipment components. Order parts and determine component reusability. Perform testing, measurements, and adjustments. Follow manufacturer service manuals and safety procedures. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Communicate repair status and recommendations to management. Support warranty evaluations and field repairs. Attend required training and maintain current technical knowledge.

Pay:

$30.00 - $48.00 per hour
