This is an excellent position for an experienced mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of fleets. In this role, you will be assigned repairs, inspections, and maintenance of light, medium, and/or heavy fleet vehicles and equipment. This brand-new shop facility is a great place to work! The typical schedule is 7:30 to 4:00 M - F What you'll be doing: Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues. Using a computerized work order system to track and complete tasks. Inspecting heavy and light equipment in the field and shop to determine repair needs and performing field repairs when possible. Conducting preventative maintenance services on all equipment. What we're looking for: Proven experience diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas engines, brake systems, transmissions, differentials, and front and rear axle assemblies. Skilled in repairing and installing hydraulic pumps and controls, as well as diagnosing electrical issues. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Proficiency in using computer equipment for diagnostics and repairs. A team player with excellent communication skills.
