Job Description

A leading waste and recycling operation is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks and related equipment. This position is responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment remains safe and operational. (1st & 2nd Shift Available)
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, trucks, and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and drivetrain issues Complete preventative maintenance and repair work Read and interpret repair orders and equipment reports Document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities Maintain a safe and organized work environment Communicate with operators and supervisors regarding equipment needs
Qualifications:
4+ years of diesel repair and troubleshooting experience Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance Ability to read and understand repair documentation Valid driver's license Experience working on yellow iron equipment is a plus
