Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining a variety of commercial heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on commercial heavy duty TriAxle dump trucks (including weekly greasing, oil changes, light mechanical repairs) Inspect vehicle systems including air brakes, hydraulics, suspension, lighting, etc Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles Requirements Proven mechanic experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with commercial repair practices Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge Hours are flexible (would require weekends& some evenings if available) Competitive hourly salary offered for the right candidate Shop is located in New Milford CT Call or text 203-994-7220
