Job Description
A well-established, privately owned agricultural and construction operation on the Eastern Shore is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of heavy equipment and farm machinery. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering steady, year-round work in a hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and agricultural machinery Troubleshoot and repair equipment both in the shop and in the field Work on a variety of equipment including tractors, loaders, excavators, skid steers, and trucks Maintain service records and follow scheduled maintenance programs Assist with parts ordering and inventory as needed Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Experience working on John Deere agricultural equipment is a strong plus.
