Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles (Dump Trucks)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines (Dump Trucks)
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements
- Service and repair other equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Follow guidelines and procedures for repairs and maintenance
- Solder and fabricate parts as needed, along with some welding.
- Utilize HVAC knowledge for system repairs Maintaining Dump trucks to the fullest.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience as a diesel mechanic
- Welding and fabrication of parts
- Familiarity with FDOT procedures and standards
- Proficiency in brake repair and replacement
