Diesel Technician - Freightliner Certification Required - Haines City, FL Our Haines City, FL terminal has an immediate opening for a first shift full-time Diesel Mechanic. Must be Freightliner certified. Schedule would cover weekend shift - Wed-Sun , Fri-Tues , Thurs-Mon - whichever variation works best for the candidate. Candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Freightliner software including troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of diesel engine systems. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform standard vehicle maintenance, tractor and trailer Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable Electrical systems including starters and alternators - ECM's, ECU's sensors Steering systems

Engine:

turbo, fan clutches, injectors, cooling systems Brake systems including ABS, Spring and Air Suspension systems Only professionals should apply

Experience/Certification Required:

Freightliner Certified Detail-oriented, organized, and level-headed Ability to manage problems as they arise Dependable, willing and ready to work every day Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have proper tool box and tools to complete tasks CDL a plus, but not required
