YOUNGQUIST BROTHERS LLC

is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment, and commercial vehicles. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, service, and repair a wide variety of diesel engines and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our equipment serviced and running in peak condition.

THIS JOB WILL BE LOCATED IN THE LAKELAND, BARTOW, PLANT CITY AND SUMTERVILLE AREAS. WE HAVE 4 JOBSITES WITH EQUIPMENT ON EACH SITE. A COMPANY TRUCK AND ALL TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED. HOURS ARE 7AM-5PM MONDAY-FRIDAY AND OCCASIONAL EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS ON CALL IF AN EMERGENCY COMES UP.

Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and HVAC components using schematics and automotive repair knowledge. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery to ensure peak operational efficiency. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, soldering, power tools, and hand tools to meet specific repair needs. Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical systems and complex mechanical issues. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and ensuring timely completion of work orders. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair and heavy equipment maintenance. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and transmissions is essential. Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tractor-trailers is a strong plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; committed to safety standards and quality workmanship.
