RoMac Building Supply has an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic to work out of our service trailer in Leesburg, Florida. With over 600 employees, RoMac is one of Florida's premier residential and commercial building material suppliers. A family owned company; we have been in business since 1945.

Responsibilities and duties:

Perform basic service such as oil changes and small repairs. Maintaining updated records of preventative maintenance Inspect vehicles and equipment and evaluate condition; service as needed Operate tools, equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures Other duties as may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Able to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs without supervision Able to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair and maintenance Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience Automotive diagnostics experience Driver's License with good driving record Organized and detail oriented Forklift repair experience a plus Must be self motivated and have basic tools
