Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical skills, particularly in agricultural and/or construction equipment repair and the use of power tools. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment including tractors and light construction equipment Diagnose issues with gasoline and diesel engines and perform necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machinery. Perform repairs and ensure all safety standards are met. Communicate effectively across departments regarding service needs and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of services and parts needed to complete repair. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness. Skills Proficiency in techniques for equipment repair. Experience in suspending equipment safely during repair processes. Knowledge of equipment repair principles and practices. Familiarity with shop operations and safety protocols. Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently. Competence in using various hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks. Detail-oriented approach to ensure high-quality workmanship.
