Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team to service / repair our fleet of Mobile Cranes, Truck and other Heavy Fleet Equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
  • Read Diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
  • Carry out preventative maintenance programs
  • Must be able to identify all types of crane components
  • Must have a strong background in drive train, engines, hydraulics, electrical and computer-controlled systems
  • Identify and request replacement part to perform repairs
  • Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Examine parts for damage and excessive wear
  • Read and understand operating manuals, part manuals and blueprints
  • Ability to work overtime as well as some weekends is a plus, but this is not often required
  • Travel is required periodically for the field part of this job, a valid drivers license is needed and satisfactory vehicle, field tech will also need to collect parts.
  • Must be capable of communicating effectively and professionally with supervisors and other personnel Qualifications
  • Mechanic experience
  • Diagnostics minimum 3 years mechanical experience
  • Experience or Training in both electrical and mechanical fields We offer a great working environment with.
