Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated bilingual Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with diesel engines. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles and industrial equipment operate efficiently and safely. The Diesel Mechanic will also provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including troubleshooting electrical systems and brake components. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. Assemble and disassemble various engine components as needed for repairs. Work with schematics to understand complex mechanical systems. Repair or replace shocks, struts, and suspension components to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients clearly. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills Proficient in vehicle maintenance techniques, particularly for diesel engines. Strong understanding of electrical systems related to diesel vehicles. Experience with brake repair and suspension systems including shocks and struts. Ability to read and interpret schematics for various mechanical systems. Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs. Strong communication skills to provide effective customer service. Ability to solder components as part of electrical repairs when necessary.
