Job Description

An established fleet maintenance operation is hiring Diesel Technicians in Auburn, GA for both shop and mobile service opportunities. Technicians will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer fleets of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and related components. Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues to keep customer equipment safe and operational. Complete DOT inspections and ensure applicable safety and compliance standards are met. Accurately document inspections, repairs, and maintenance work. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop or mobile work environment. Communicate with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership regarding repair needs and completed work. Mobile Technicians will perform maintenance and repairs in a field-based environment while working independently as needed.
Requirements Required:
2+ years of diesel or heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair experience for shop-based positions. 3+ years of diesel maintenance experience and previous mobile technician experience for mobile positions. Strong mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Valid driver's license. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
ASE T-Series certifications, including T2, T4, T5, T6, and/or T8, or willingness to obtain. CDL is an asset but is not required. #PJ1
Compensation:
$32.00 - $44.00/hour based on experience and certifications Paid ASE testing and certification support Wage increases tied to ASE certifications and skill progression Training opportunities, diagnostic tool access, and opportunities for advancement
