In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operations across various industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex mechanical systems repair; utilize diagnostic tools for automotive electrical system troubleshooting. Perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or parts replacement; ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations. Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed; communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding maintenance needs or repair status. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems using diagnostic tools. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment brands is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
