Part-Time Diesel Mechanic Job Summary:

Come and work with a company with a great culture!!! The Diesel Mechanic will perform PM maintenance and repairs on the company's fleet of cars, trucks, and trailers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform PM maintenance on company's fleet of vehicles. Operate diagnostic equipment. (Cummins Insite, Cat ET, Allison Transmission) Ensure all safety standards and regulations are followed in the facility. Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

2 to 4 years of experience required. Excellent diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving skills. Having own basic hand tools, specialty tools are supplied by company. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Air brake knowledge a plus. Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine repairs, air brakes repairs and trailer repairs. Ability to mount and dismount tires. (passenger cars and trucks) Ability to visually diagnose mechanical and non-mechanical issues. Ability to read service and repair manuals. Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to use diagnostic equipment. (Cummins Insite, Cat Et, Allison Transmission) Must be able to obtain an alcohol permit Must have a valid drivers license and clean

MVR Physical Requirements:
