Position Overview:
Now Hiring:
Fleet Mechanic McDonough, GA $32/hour Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-3:00 PM Keep Our Fleet Running Strong We are seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel and gas trucks, trailers, and equipment. If you have experience diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping vehicles safe and reliable, this is a great opportunity to join a stable team with competitive pay and excellent benefits. What We Offer $32/hour Competitive Pay Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Consistent Monday-Friday Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Hands-On Training Supportive Work Environment What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, and equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, tire, and hydraulic issues Troubleshoot diesel and gas-powered equipment problems Service and repair small engine equipment Complete DOT inspections and maintain compliance Document repairs and communicate equipment status Maintain an organized shop and manage parts inventory Coordinate larger repairs with outside vendors when needed
What We're Looking For Required:
3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Basic computer/tablet skills for maintenance records DOT inspection certification or willingness to obtain
Preferred:
Diesel truck and trailer repair experience Small engine repair experience Welding or fabrication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Why Join Us?
