The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel repair and equipment maintenance, with experience in servicing a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet, which includes farm machinery and diesel engines. The will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs utilizing DVIR systems in place to ensure our operations run smoothly. You must have Yellow Iron experience and a CDL license is a plus. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including diesel engines, heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Repair or replace shocks, struts, brakes, tires, electrical and hydraulic systems. and other critical components as needed. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair activities. Conduct safety checks and perform routine inspections. Qualifications Proven experience in diesel truck /trailer repair. Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and equipment maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications in automotive or diesel technology are a plus.
