Mobile Diesel Technician, Heavy Truck & Yard Equipment Coastal Industrial Equipment (a division of the Kenworth of Jacksonville Group) is the OEM dealer for Kalmar Ottawa yard spotter trucks across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. We're a full-service franchised dealership covering truck sales, parts, service, body shop, leasing, and rental. We're looking for an experienced diesel technician to join our mobile service team, based out of our Garden City, GA shop and serving customers throughout FL, GA, and SC. What You'll Work On Kalmar Ottawa yard spotter trucks HVAC systems Charging and electrical systems Cummins ISB and QSB engines Outer ends: brakes, seals, and bearings What We're Looking For Diesel or heavy truck technician experience (yard spotter or terminal tractor experience is a plus, but not required, we'll train) Comfortable diagnosing and repairing engines, electrical systems, and HVAC in the field, not just in a shop bay Own set of hand tools (the company provides the service truck) Valid driver's license; a CDL is a plus but not required Able to work independently and manage your own schedule while on the road ASE certifications a plus, we'll pay for training and testing either way Physical Requirements Regularly lift up to 90 pounds Frequent bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in extended positions Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Pay based on experience and certifications Health care options 401(k) with company match Paid time off Uniforms provided Company-paid ASE certification training and testing Schedule Monday through Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 Additional Requirements We're a drug-free workplace.
