Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks. Your expertise will ensure that all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and reliably. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, and alignment procedures to keep equipment in optimal condition Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair needs Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during repair or testing processes Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving HVAC systems, shocks & struts, air brakes, and vehicle systems for trucks. Use power tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and alignments Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed for compliance and future reference Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and vehicle electrical systems CDL is preferred but not required Proficiency with schematics reading and electrical system repair techniques Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering for custom modifications or repairs Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire service, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and wheel alignment Familiarity with service technician procedures including heavy lifting safety protocols and equipment assembly/repair Join us as a Diesel Technician to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair.
