PAY IS NEGOTIABLE AND BASED ON EXPERENCE
. Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, particularly with diesel engines, and possess the ability to work on various types of heavy machinery and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are operating efficiently and safely. Pay level will be based on experience. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs. Conduct inspections of farm machinery and heavy equipment to identify potential issues. Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure optimal performance of machinery. Repair and maintain electrical systems within diesel vehicles and equipment. Provide tire service for various types of vehicles as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Operate heavy equipment safely while conducting repairs or maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair projects. Requirements Proven experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, including electrical systems. Proficient in tire service operations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
