Job Description

Positions Overview:
Industrial Service Corp. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and diesel engines to ensure smooth operations aligned with our company's commitment to excellence in logistics and transportation services, along with a strong mechanical background and a willingness to take on a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks (Mack and Kenworth semi-trucks) Perform basic trailer maintenance and repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections. Diagnose and repair diesel electrical systems and components. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions. Perform welding and fabrication as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair activities. Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Accurately document repairs and maintenance work.
Skills/Qualifications:
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (Mack and Kenworth experience). Diesel electrical system troubleshooting. Basic trailer mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and diesel engines. Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred. Additional mechanical skills a plus. Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, and suspension systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license

Pay is based on experience
Hours:
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Full-Time How to
