Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, industrial equipment, and other diesel-powered vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as shocks, struts, and transmissions.
  • Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repair procedures are followed.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
