Job Description
Diesel Mechanic Carol Stream, IL Shift
- Monday
- Friday 1st Shift Pay
- $28•32 per hour Requirements Servicing of gasoline and diesel powered buses from basic maintenance and minor repairs to full vehicle service Diagnose mechanical defects and carries out a preventive maintenance program Major and minor overhaul of engines and transmissions Service and maintain brakes, air compressors, fuel systems, ignitions, HVAC systems and Wheel Chair lifts Service and maintain vehicle air conditioning units Inspects and repairs school buses per DOT requirements Keep records of time and materials used Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Medium duty bus experience, International Truck/Bus preferred Must have own set of tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion in a timely manner Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.Job Type:
