Labor Services Company is a family-owned transportation company that has been in operation for over fifty (50) years. We are currently hiring a diesel tractor trailer mechanic for the Hazelcrest, IL location. Pay starting at $25.00 per hour, experience will pay more Both 2nd (3PM to 11:30PM) and 3rd (11PM to 7:30AM) shifts Monday through Friday are available Paid weekly, full time Weekday OT after 40 hours Great benefits including: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401k Voluntary (disability, life and more!) Paid holidays Candidates must: Pass a drug test, physical & background check Have 5+ years of tractor/trailer experience Must have own tools Welding experience highly preferred Must have valid driver's license as moving the vehicles around the yard is occasionally needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair and replace defective parts, components or system Interpret work orders and technical manuals Test and repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturer regulations Repair emergency breakdowns Must have a minimum of one year experience in trailer maintenance Registered inspectors are a plus
