Diesel Mechanic

•Class 8 Trucks We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our established truck repair shop in Joliet, IL . This is a full-time position offering steady work, competitive pay, and weekends off. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 8 commercial trucks and can work independently in a busy diesel repair environment. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 8 semi-trucks Perform repairs on diesel engines and related components Diagnose and repair electrical systems Service and repair brake and suspension systems Diagnose and repair aftertreatment and DEF systems Perform general truck repairs and preventative maintenance Identify mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs efficiently Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Truck Brands Experience with the following makes is preferred: Freightliner Volvo Peterbilt Kenworth Requirements 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience Class 8 commercial truck experience required Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems Experience with electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and aftertreatment/DEF systems Must have your own tools Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently Dependable and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

7:00 AM

•6:00

PM Friday:

7:00 AM

•3:30 PM Weekends off Pay & Benefits $35
