Proven experience as a Lead Diesel Mechanic in a fleet maintenance environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, and electrical systems. Ability to coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks efficiently. Relevant certifications or training in diesel mechanics. Must have valid Driver's License, CDL a plus, Clean MVR. Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of diesel mechanics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of the fleet. Conduct regular inspections of trucks and chassis to identify and address mechanical issues. Prioritize and delegate tasks to team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Using Tech Tools and other diagnoses technologies to log in, research, complete repairs, and including basic vehicle diagnostics and provide technical guidance to the team. Collaborate with the management team to optimize workflow and enhance overall shop performance. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory (knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email). Wage Range:
18.00 - 32.00 per hour
