Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic OR a degree/certification applicable to the job duties Monday-Friday day positions available at our Mascoutah, IL shop Available shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm Bring your own tools Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred)

Duties:

Performing mechanical repairs of heavy-duty diesel trucks Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs Welding Road test Vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, temperature and pressure gauges Identify warranty repairs Document all work on work orders Keep work area clean and safe Other duties as assigned
