Express Service Group is a rapidly growing 24/7 mobile truck and trailer repair company serving the St. Louis freight corridor and surrounding Midwest markets. We're expanding our fleet and looking for a skilled Roadside Diesel Technician to operate a company service truck within a dedicated service territory. This is not a shop position. This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and getting paid based on performance rather than simply putting in hours. What We Provide Company service truck Dispatch support Established customer base Fleet accounts NTTS network presence Marketing and advertising support Referral network Growing call volume Advancement opportunities Responsibilities Roadside diesel truck repairs Trailer repairs Air system diagnostics and repairs Brake repairs Electrical troubleshooting Cooling system repairs Tire service and roadside tire repairs Emergency breakdown response Fleet maintenance service calls Customer communication Service documentation and photos Develop and maintain relationships with local repair shops, towing companies, fleet managers, truck stops, and other industry contacts Generate referrals and identify opportunities to grow business within your assigned territory Represent Express Service Group professionally and help expand our presence throughout the market Work is performed at truck stops, fleet yards, customer facilities, and roadside locations throughout the region. Required Qualifications Diesel repair experience Ability to work independently Ability to participate in an on-call rotation Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to diagnose and repair equipment without constant supervision Preferred Experience Mobile truck repair Heavy-duty truck and trailer repair Air brake systems Electrical diagnostics Cooling systems Tire service DOT inspections and violation repairs Basic smartphone and computer proficiency Tools & Equipment Technicians are expected to provide and maintain their own professional hand tools and diagnostic equipment necessary to perform repairs independently.
