Forge Truck Centers currently has an opening for a Heavy Duty Truck General Labor Technician position. This position works inside as well as outside all year round; applicants must be willing to work outside year-round. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for Loading and Unloading Truck Inventory Complete minor truck repairs Perform tire changes Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions Complete general yard maintenance e.g moving trailers Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership 1 or more years of experience in heavy-duty trucks Drivers License is required Preferred Qualifications CDL License preferred Core Competencies Accountability and attention to detail Strong communication Team-oriented mindset Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Commitment to continuous learning Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures Ability to perform repetitive mechanical tasks and operate shop equipment Ability to perform all physically demanding tasks in all outdoor weather conditions year-round Compensation & Benefits $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Overtime available based on business needs Uniforms provided Specialty tools provided 401(k) with company match Dental insurance Medical insurance Vision insurance
