Interstate Power Systems Shift Hours:
9:00am- 5:30pm Monday
- Friday.
Pay Range:
$38.00- $45.
Diesel Shop Foreman Duties:
Perform test drives to verify customer concerns are resolved. Perform Quality Inspections on completed truck/equipment. Opening & closing repair orders Perform all types of repairs and DOT inspections as needed. Assist technician/mechanic(s) as needed with repairs, lending a hand or guidance as needed. Positively teach, train and mentor technician/mechanic(s) Assist Service office in making sure everyone is on a job and next assignment is ready. Updating customers and seeking approvals as needed Updating software programs such as Uptime Pro with updated information General Shop Duties, ordering and putting shop supplies away as needed. Delegating duties to technician/mechanic(s) when we have no customer repairs to complete. Learning Service Advisor role for times when shorthanded in office. Willing to work a rotational on call schedule.Diesel Shop Foreman Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks. Must have your own set of general tools. Strong knowledge of computers for diagnosis and repair order systems Technical degree or certification a plus Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions. Diesel engine certification-engine overhaul and diagnostics a must CDL preferred but not required. Employee Benefits Competitive Wages- Be paid your worth! Uniforms
