Essential Job Responsibilities/Functions Ability to show up on time and ready to work every day Inspect, diagnose, repair & maintain diesel engines on heavy duty vehicles such as pick up trucks, dump trucks and semis along with excavating equipment including, skid loaders, bulldozers, excavators, off road trucks etc. Help maintain preventative maintenance schedules on vehicles & equipment to insure timely scheduled services. Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to wiring harnesses, sensors, alternators, etc. Maintain brake systems including air brakes, ABS and DOT-compliant adjustments. Service Suspension, steering and chassis systems. Repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment. Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose issues. Perform welding and fabrication when needed. (a plus) Document repairs and communicate with Supervisor/Manager to ensure accurate service records. Ability to understand and follow all quality/safety policies and procedures Ability to work in all types of weather

Experience:
• 2+ years of
Diesel Technician Experience License/Certification:
CDL A or B (Preferred), Chauffers/For Hire License could be obtained upon hire.
