MUST PROVIDE OWN TOOLS AND TOOLBOX
Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension, and electrical systems using schematics and automotive electrical system repair techniques. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts replacement, and general vehicle systems inspection. Repair and fabricate components using welding, hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques to meet operational specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance or troubleshooting procedures. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems on farm machinery, industrial equipment, or heavy trucks. Assist with assembly, disassembly, and replacement of mechanical parts ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair procedures clearly to clients or team members and ensuring timely completion of work orders. Requirements

Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, suspension components, and vehicle electrical systems. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize automotive diagnostics tools effectively. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications. Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar machinery is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment for heavy lifting tasks, and tire service procedures. Knowledge of safety protocols related to air brake systems, vehicle maintenance standards, and industrial equipment operation. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
