Job Description
Overview Looking for a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brakes using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs on heavy equipment. Carry out routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and alignment procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and soldering techniques to fabricate parts or repair damaged components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues related to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and factory standards. Maintain detailed service records and complete all documentation related to repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
