What You Will Do Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, safety checks, oil changes, and routine service Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and other vehicle systems Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools to troubleshoot vehicle issues Communicate repair time and parts needs to the Service Writer Complete repairs within established Standard Repair Times Identify and document warrantable repairs Complete repair orders, parts usage, and labor-time documentation Review and complete repairs identified through vehicle inspection reports Perform emergency service calls as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow established safety procedures Continue developing your technical skills through training and education What We Are Looking For Previous diesel, medium/heavy-duty truck, bus, or related mechanical experience preferred Familiarity with electrical, brake, suspension, hydraulic, or diesel systems Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools Valid driver's license and ability to meet company MVR requirements CDL with air-brake endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain ASE or other relevant technical certifications preferred Must own the tools required to complete assigned work Basic computer skills for repair orders and service documentation Experience level and compensation will be based on your background and demonstrated skills.
