Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, completing diagnostics and maintaining semi equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support our operational goals. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems, using schematics and hand tools. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, alignments, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using Cummins Insight, Volvo Tech Tool, Detroit Diagnostic Link and Paccar Davie. Troubleshoot and replace clutches. Knowledge with pulling and repairing transmissions. Maintain detailed service records and repair logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic. Extensive knowledge of semi equipment. Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical assemblies for semi equipment repair. Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication techniques, tire service, brake repair, alignment procedures, replacing clutches and pulling transmissions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in various environmental conditions. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
