Job Description
The City of Providence is currently accepting applications for a shop mechanic. The shop mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of equipment. Other duties may be required as needed. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid drivers license. Related work experience in a shop and knowledge of diesel equipment is preferred. CDL Class B drivers license is a plus. Pay will be based on training and experience. CERS retirement benefits and insurance available. The City of Providence is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
