Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems in a variety of equipment, OTR trucks and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, hydraulics, and the ability to read schematics. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting. Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, air brake systems, and other mechanical components. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Responsibly run service truck with crane to assist in heavy installation of components. Electrical troubleshooting and repair. Operate forklifts safely while moving parts or machinery within the shop. Document all repairs and maintenance performed accurately in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role, with a strong understanding of diesel engine repair. Proficiency in hydraulics, air brake systems, and machinery maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Capability to run service truck and crane to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. A valid driver's license may be required based on job duties.
