Diesel Mechanic Waste Connections $22.00 - $25.00 / hr 401(k) United States, Louisiana, Alexandria Jul 08, 2026 We are looking for a highly skilledDiesel Mechanicto join our team inAlexandria, LA. Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday's. 12:00 p.m. start time, working 10-12 hours a day, 50- 60 hours a week.

Pay Range:

$22 - 25 per hour, depending on experience. Tool allowance of $200 per month towards your tool kit. On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation. Job Summary Performingpreventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic andelectrical systems, along with parts replacement and minorengine repairon our garbage trucks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

2+ years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truckfleet maintenance. The starting pay for this position is $22 - 25 per hour. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
