In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty machinery, including but not limited to 18 wheeler tractors and trailers, vehicle fleet, and industrial specialty equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our equipment across various operational settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery and utilize your mechanical knowledge to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical systems Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks to prolong equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on industrial equipment, tractor and trailers, and vehicle systems for truck drivers. Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, repairs, and equipment maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols related to air brake systems, vehicle alignment procedures, HVAC systems in vehicles or equipment cabins, and heavy lifting techniques. Perform repairs to complete rebuild on pneumatic diaphragm pumps Perform repairs to complete rebuild on electrical pumps Perform repairs to hydraulic positive displacement equipment Works in accordance with federal/ VIP compliance guidelines (Safety, DOT, FMCSA) Other support duties as required to support operations. These could include but are not limited to provide onsite support when necessary within the United States and overseas job sites. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy equipment repair and maintenance in industrial environments. Knowledge of hydraulic systems repair—including pumps, hoses, valves Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and computers Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong mechanical knowledge across multiple systems including HVAC and powertrains.
