We are currently searching for diesel truck mechanics!

Shift Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM This position is for our Chalmette, LA branch at 100 Intermodal Dr, Chalmette, LA 70043.

Pay Range:

$15.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months. Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a diesel tractor / truck / semi. Experience with air brake systems and repairs. Experience with oil changes, preventative maintenance, starters, wheel seals, and all bolt on components. Welding experience is a plus for pump and compressor installations, but not a must (optional)

Physical Demands:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Must be able to work in confined spaces
