Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel/Equipment Mechanic to join our team full-time. Work hours are 7am - 3:30pm with opportunities for overtime. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and equipment to keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and transmissions to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on construction machinery, heavy equipment, and fleet assets.
- Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and OEM manual to identify issues and implement effective repairs.
- Document service work, parts used, and downtime, and communicate maintenance status to customers or supervisors.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and that equipment is tested post-repair before returning to service. Skills/Requirements
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to details
- Troubleshoot using schematics and technical manuals
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
- Strong customer service orientation when interacting with clients
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be able to pass drug test
