Full-Time (On-Site) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with strong experience in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial vehicles in a fleet, dealership, or service environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, brakes, and other vehicle components. Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical documentation. Repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment. Complete repair orders and accurately document all work performed. Identify required parts and communicate repair needs and timelines with service teams. Perform inspections and safety checks to ensure vehicles meet quality standards. Respond to service needs, including occasional road calls when required. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures. Required Qualifications Strong experience in diesel mechanics. Hands-on experience working on heavy-duty trucks, buses, or heavy equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrain components. Ability to use diagnostic software, tools, and service manuals. Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a commercial service environment. Good communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.
