Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on diesel vehicles and equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension components, fuel systems, and other mechanical components. Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and related systems. Perform oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and other scheduled maintenance. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. Communicate identified issues and recommended repairs to supervisors or management. Qualifications Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or in heavy-duty equipment repair preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostic procedures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift, move, and work around heavy equipment as required. CDL is preferred but not required. Relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
