Diesel Truck Technician Boston Freightliner - 2.8 Everett, MA Job Details 13 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Driving Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Truck Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct road tests to ensure repairs have been completed successfully and vehicles are operating safely. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in diesel technology preferred. Proven experience as a Diesel Truck Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy parts and work in various environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Work Environment This position involves working in a garage or workshop setting, often with exposure to noise, grease, and varying weather conditions.
