Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Diesel Mechanic and kick-start your career in heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance! This energetic role offers hands-on experience working with a variety of machinery, including trucks, and construction machinery. You will be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties Assist with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems on various vehicles and heavy equipment Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, fluid checks, and component replacements Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately Support the repair of , industrial equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers, and ariel equipment. Conduct vehicle alignment checks and repairs to ensure safety standards are met Assist with assembling new equipment or parts as needed for repairs or upgrades Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with dealership service environments is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge of diesel systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and electrical components Experience with schematics reading and diagnostic tools for automotive electrical systems or vehicle diagnostics is preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and safety practices in a workshop setting Strong work ethic with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members during repairs or inspections This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about mechanics who want to build a solid foundation in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
