from day one

Responsibilities:

Working with heavy construction equipment Troubleshoot hydraulic issues and electrical problems Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. Completes required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Performs maintenance related work as required. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Repair diesel engines Some welding is also required Working in the shop and on the road as needed

Qualifications:

Previous diesel experience required Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair Own personal tools Good driving record Hours are Monday through Friday Average of 50 hours per week - overtime after 40 hours The salary is up to $25.00 an hour based on experience
