Job Description

Job Overview Cappello Heavy Transport is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty / Heavy Haul Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are a family-owned company with over 40 years in the industry, specializing in heavy hauling and specialized transport. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on mechanic who can keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment Perform general electrical work and troubleshooting as needed Conduct routine maintenance and inspections Work on hydraulic, air brake, and suspension systems Ensure all equipment meets safety and DOT compliance standards Maintain accurate service records

Requirements:

5-10 years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience Experience with heavy haul equipment and trailers Ability to work independently and efficiently Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
